Black Steele Construction, LLC started in 2026, a new underground utility contractor serving general contractors, developers, municipalities, and civil contractors in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Rowdy Blackwood and Jeremy Steele have been in the wet utility business for 30+ years. They have installed the full range of wet utilities in North Texas and surrounding areas: municipal water main replacement programs for various municipalities; completed work on water, sewer, and storm systems for master-planned residential communities in Denton County for developers; site utility packages for commercial, church, and multifamily projects across Tarrant and Dallas counties; and on-call emergency utility repair work for municipalities across Northeast Tarrant County.
